This page is an overview of the Channel Champion powers and responsibilities

A Channel Champion is the leader of their Channel; they take responsibility for the daily success and growth of the Neighbors in their Channel.

Each Channel Champion is given the autonomy to lead in their own creative and unique way.

Channel Champion powers

Ability to award any Neighbor in their channel XP (<200 XP)
Ability to manage messages in their channel (can delete messages that are spam)
Ability to Kick Neighbors that have spammed their channel (give a warning first)
Ability to create a Thread in their channel
Ability to create a Mini Challenge on their to get XP (Mini Challenges)
Managers of $200 worth of MATIC every month (Champion DAO)

How to measure the success of a Champion

Feedback from Neighbors in the Channel (feedback collection mechanism to be determined by the Channel Champions)
Healthy growth of the Channel stats, viewed in the Server Insights:

Channel Champions earn Metablox Coin

In addition to the powers that Channel Champions receive, they also earn 1 Metablox Coin per week (with room to grow their earn rate).

We will use this spreadsheet to track Metablox Coin earned.

Metablox Coin has not yet been Minted. We expect to Mint by June 2022.

Investing: How might you help Neighbors get a snapshot view about interesting blockchain projects they may want to invest in?
Health and Fitness: How might you get Neighbors motivated to start a wellness plan and hold each other accountable for sticking to it?
Parenting: How might you help Neighbors overcome their biggest parenting challenges?
Gamification: How might you help Neighbors implement Gamification into their personal and professional lives?
Books: How might you get Neighbors to read together and share their best book recommendations?
