Champion DAO

I know this does not yet fully operate as a DAO, but we'll get there. Please message "jun loayza" on the Discord Server with ideas about how to make it fully autonomous.

As an additional power for serving as a Channel Champion, the Channel Champions will manage $200 USD worth of MATIC every month (starting Feb 1, 2020).

Why MATIC

Because we're building Metablox on Polygon.

Details

1. Starting Feb 1, 2022, $200 USD worth of MATIC will be deposited in a Wallet every month (Wallet pending creation).

2. The Metablox Channel Champions control the decisions for what to do with the MATIC in this Wallet (initially, Jun Loayza will manage the Wallet, but Super Mods can decide on the best way to scale management).

3. Channel Champions will vote every month about how they want to use their funds.

How does voting work?

Channel Champions to decide how voting works. Please provide details of how to vote, when to vote, and what happens if someone does not vote.

What decisions can be made with the funds?

The decisions are up to you. Some ideas:

1. Give MATIC to yourselves (the Channel Champions)

2. Give MATIC to Neighbors

3. Just keep holding the MATIC for something big

4. Run a giveaway on social media to drive more members into the Discord Server

5. Exchange MATIC for another crypto currency

6. Vote to make changes to the way you vote

7. Vote to move funds to another Wallet

What cannot be changed

In order to protect Channel Champions and the funds, Metablox has ownership of the Wallet that will fund the MATIC. The funds will always be initially placed into this Wallet, but the Channel Champions can vote to move funds to another wallet if they wish.

Success metrics

We will commit to this for 3 months. At the end of 3 months, we will evaluate how it's going and make decisions on next steps.
